From 26th to 29th May 2022, CMDI Group is proud to present the 2022 edition of the American International Piano Competition and Festival (AIPCF). Taking place in the stunning surroundings of the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. campus, this phenomenal event will witness extraordinary young pianists from across the globe travel to the United States’ capital, for a prodigious display of unique musicality and honed technical skill. This competition forms part of the ‘14 Ways to Dubai’ initiative, a groundbreaking concept featuring fourteen piano competitions around the world taking place across 2022 and 2023. The top ranked competitors from each event will not only be competing within their immediate event, but, in addition to one of the top prizes, will also benefit from the opportunity to compete in the Classic Piano Dubai International Piano Competition 2024. This unique event in the United Arab Emirates features a groundbreaking top prize, as well as the chance to compete alongside other prodigious pianists in one of the world’s most energising and modern metropolises. The Artistic Director for the AIPCF 2022 is the acclaimed pianist, Nikita Fitenko.
