Classic Strings Violin and Cello International Competition

In May 2022, CMDI Group in collaboration with SAMIT Event Group will present Classic Strings, an ambitious project designed to provide meaningful performance and competitive  opportunities to talented emerging musicians from around the world. Comprising both a cello competition (9th–19th May) and a violin competition (10th–23rd May), this lively and engaging event presents those competing with premier performance experience in Dubai, as well as the opportunity to benefit from invaluable feedback from members of the jury as well as a monetary prize. Following two highly successful editions of the project in Riga in 2018 and again in Vienna in 2019, this latest iteration of the event promises a similarly thrilling competitive environment, and a unique time for audiences in the region to experience firsthand some of the most exciting emerging string players from across the globe.
