ClaviCologne zu Gast bei Mozarteum
From 11th to 16th April 2022, CMDI Group, in collaboration with the Salzburg Mozarteum, will present the 2022 edition of the ClaviCologne International Festival and Academy. Throughout the event, participants will enjoy six days of masterclasses with internationally renowned professors and special guests. Tuition will be offered in solo piano studies and other various disciplines including organ, piano duo, cello and piano duo and hammerklavier. The festival’s Artistic Director is Pavel Gililov, a world-renowned performer and pedagogue who is recognised globally for his deep knowledge and expertise. Other visiting professors include First Prize Winner at the first international Olivier Messiaen piano competition (1967), Professor Emeritus at the Paris Conservatoire and Exclusive EMI artist for over 25 years, Michel Beroff (France); Edison Award Winner, recording artist for EMI, BMG, Virgin Classics and Hyperion, prominent juror for many international competitions including the Leeds, Chopin (Warsaw), Van Cliburn, Beethoven (Vienna) and Tchaikovsky, Dmitri Alexeev (UK) and Winner of the Chopin Competition in Israel and the Enescu Competition in Bucharest, Arie Vardi (Israel), amongst many others. The festival is also pleased to welcome special guests Alfred Brendel and Elisabeth Leonskaja, two hugely prominent figures in the music world who will bring their considerable experience, expertise and unique insights to ClaviCologne. The festival will take place in Salzburg, a city renowned not only for its beauty, but also for its significance within the world of classical music. A UNESCO World Heritage site since 1996, Salzburg regularly attracts visitors from around the world, who travel to marvel at the city’s stunning architecture and rich natural beauty.
