VI Eurasian Stars International Music Festival
The much-anticipated VI Eurasian Stars International Music Festival organized by CMDI Events is set to return to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from November 10th to November 21st, 2024, at the prestigious Turkistan Concert Hall. Bringing together renowned international soloists and the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, this year’s edition promises an unforgettable celebration of classical music.
Under the baton of its Artistic Director, celebrated conductor Alibek Kabdurakhmanov, the festival will feature three unique orchestral evenings that promise to showcase the extraordinary virtuosity of world-class soloists. Each performance will highlight a distinctive musical journey, offering an experience that resonates deeply with classical music enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
The Opening Night will surprise with Piano Sensations: Internationally celebrated piano soloist, winner of multiple international competitions Andrey Gugnin, known for his breathtaking technical mastery and emotive interpretations, joins the renowned pianists ST DUO to launch the festival on November 10th. Together, they will deliver a compelling showcase of virtuosity, promising to captivate audiences with a blend of energy and profound expression.
On November 11, Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient and laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition Stephen Waarts, a violinist lauded for his lyrical and emotionally rich style, will take the stage for an evening dedicated to exploring the violin’s expressive depths. His performance will provide an intimate journey through classical compositions, revealing the violin’s profound capabilities.
The festival will culminate on November 21 with a spectacular performance by the winner of the Paganini International Violin Competition violinist Giuseppe Gibboni, whose passionate artistry has earned him acclaim. This closing concert will showcase the pinnacle of musical mastery, leaving audiences with a lasting impression of the beauty and power of classical music.
