About CMDI

CMDI (Classical Music Development Initiative) Group is one of the culture sector’s newest organisations, and one that in a relatively short space of time has built a reputation for trust and excellence through its engaging premier events across the globe.

Founded and directed by some of the world’s most successful cultural entrepreneurs and managers, CMDI’s remit is that of building bridges between areas of the world through the promotion and implementation of high-quality artistic events, with a particular focus placed on classical music.

Counting numerous critically acclaimed soloists, conductors and orchestras on its roster of collaborating artists, CMDI Group stands ready to deliver the very best in cultural endeavours, its projects including concerts, ballets, competitions, opera recitals, masterclasses, festivals, academies and many others. Like culture, CMDI works across borders and boundaries to bring events to all corners of the globe, with upcoming events taking place in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

With 2023 featuring upcoming collaborations with renowned artists including Maxim Vengerov, Mikhail Pletnev, Andrey Baranov, David Aaron Carpenter, Ashley Wass, Piotr Anderszewski, Alexander Chaushian, and Chloe Hanslip, to name but a few, CMDI looks forward to an exciting year of world-class music-making ahead, and remains committed to strengthening the bonds of fellowship and shared cultural heritage that bring us all together.
